While half of the Planet suffer from famine, the other half is concerned by the food waste. This is one of the biggest ironies of our society.
Every year, we trhow away over 1 billion tons of food. That means one-third of the world's food. This would be enough to feed all the countries in need every year.
Plus, the production of all this food consume precious resources for nothing. Last year, on July 28th we have used up all the resources the Earth can generate for the year, sooner than ever before.
Limit food waste would push the date back by 13 days.
